Through a series of virtual coaching sessions, REL Southwest is building the capacity of Arkansas Department of Education staff to conduct a formative evaluation of the Arkansas Initiative for Instructional Materials (AIIM). In this coaching session, REL Southwest provided an overview of logic models and best practices for logic model development. During the session, a logic model for the AIIM initiative was developed with short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes. The group then formulated research questions to align with the logic model. Research questions for both the implementation and impact studies were discussed.
