Building from the concept maps generated in technical support Session 1, REL Northwest and literacy staff from the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (AK DEED) will continue to revise the District Reading Survey. This survey was developed by AK DEED to gather information about district-level practices and supports for reading instruction.
During the session, REL Northwest will present additional best practices for survey item development and will guide AK DEED staff in identifying gaps and revising the survey.
