About this event

Join REL Central and experts from RELs across the country to discuss efforts and evidence-based strategies to promote teacher workforce diversity at four different stages of the teacher pipeline. Each speaker will share about a project that enhances teacher diversity within a particular stage in the teacher pipeline. Participants will learn about ongoing REL efforts across the nation focused on improving teacher workforce diversity and gain a deeper understanding of strategies for diversifying the teacher workforce within each stage of the teacher pipeline.

This Cross-REL Teacher Workforce event highlights four REL partnerships, which all concentrate on diversifying the teacher workforce:

* Teacher Diversity in Colorado, REL Central

* Diversifying the Teacher Pipeline with HBCUs, REL Southeast

* Coaching to Districts on Continuous Improvement to Increase the Hiring of Teachers of Color, REL Mid-Atlantic

* Supporting Inclusive and Diverse Educator Environments, REL Midwest
