On January 24, 2023, REL West met with partners at Victor Valley College for the first coaching session under the partnership titled "Building an Evidence-Informed Education Program for Justice-Impacted Individuals", which is aimed at defining and improving the correctional and transitional education programming supporting justice-impacted individuals. In this first session, participants documented Victor Valley College's existing program and how it came to be, along with identifying the decisionmaking process that informed the development of the program.
