About this event

The Pacific region poses unique challenges to teacher supply, professional development, and retention, in part because of its geographic isolation and the limited access to postsecondary opportunities in many REL Pacific jurisdictions. This webinar examined how to increase student performance through improved teacher effectiveness and instructional quality. Presenters provided context and an overview of teacher professional development in the Pacific region, followed by a presentation about the characteristics of high-quality professional learning.
