About this event

Time: 7:15 a.m.-8:15 a.m. CT

Location: Ankeny, Iowa

Description: Participants will explore personal identities and implicit biases, and how they may influence personal beliefs and behaviors. Participants will establish a common understanding of the eight competencies for culturally responsive teaching. Finally, participants will build a shared understanding of sense of belonging and learn about evidence-based, student-focused strategies that can directly impact students' sense of belonging.
