On August 6, 2024, REL West met with partners at Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) for session 3 of the "Descriptive Snapshots of SAUSD Expanded Learning Programming and Development of Research Agenda" project. During session 3, participants learned how the components of an inquiry cycle relate to Descriptive Snapshot data analysis; engaged in a root cause analysis of relevant data; established an understanding how the inquiry cycle supports planned program changes at two SAUSD schools; and learned how the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle can guide planning and evaluation to improve programming.
