REL Northwest supported the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (AK DEED) in developing evaluation questions aligned to the logic model for the Target Strategy identified in Session 1. REL Northwest reviewed with AK DEED staff the Target Strategy logic model and uses the Evaluation Question module from the Program Evaluation Toolkit (REL Central, 2021) to provide an overview of how to develop effective evaluation questions from a logic model. Attendees drafted a set of potential questions for the prioritized Target Strategy activities. REL Northwest and AK DEED then refined the question between the second and third sessions after they have a chance to reflect further on the quality and consider data sources.
