As part of a project focused on Improving Math Professional Learning in Lyon County, REL West will begin providing technical support to help Lyon County School District (LCSD) develop and implement a robust new professional learning community (PLC) dedicated to expanding the effective use of local interim assessment data. On October 24, 2022, REL West and LCSD will hold the first in a series of coaching sessions where the group will review the purpose and scope of the LCSD secondary math PLC, gain knowledge and skills in understanding Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) data, and determine a math focus area.
