On November 9, REL West will meet with partners at Lyon County School District (LCSD) to kick off a standalone project aimed at developing and implementing a new professional learning community (PLC) dedicated to literacy instruction. In this first session, participants will understand the purpose and scope of the LCSD elementary literacy PLC, and use literacy assessment data and research on learning to read to begin to understand gaps, strengths, and priorities in literacy instruction.
