On February 22, 2024, REL West met with partners at Lyon County School District (LCSD) for the fourth session focused on elementary literacy instruction professional learning communities (PLC). In this session, participants utilized new interim assessment data to clarify student needs; learned additional evidence-based instructional practices to support literacy as reflected in Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) materials and other resources; and used data and knowledge of evidence-based practice to explore HMH in a targeted area of need.
