Description: The goals of this webinar are for participants to leave with the knowledge and ability to utilize the Integrating Reading Foundations: A Tool for College Instructors of Pre-service Teachers tool in their reading foundations courses for pre-service teachers.
Participants will gain an understanding of how the tool is aligned with the Foundational Skills to Support Reading for Understanding in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade practice guide, receive an overview of the components of the tool, and will be provided with strategies for integrating the tool into their existing reading foundations courses for pre-service teachers.

Audience: The primary audience for this webinar is college instructors of pre-service teachers enrolled in undergraduate elementary education programs. It is anticipated that the reading foundations courses taught by college instructors may also include pre-service teachers from early childhood education and/or special education programs.
