Description: Louisiana's Pre-Educator Pathway initiative seeks to cultivate highly skilled educators by guiding young people, beginning in high school, on a path to becoming accomplished teachers. The initiative aims to address workforce needs related to the recruitment and retention of teachers of color while expanding Grow Your Own initiatives across Louisiana. To support these aims, REL Southwest is providing training to staff at the Louisiana Department of Education on conducting an evaluation of the initiative. In this session, participants will learn about research designs and measurement as relates to planning for the program evaluation.
