In this training and technical support session, REL Northwest will meet with three Montana school districts--Hardin, Lockwood, and Whitehall--to work toward increasing the use of evidence-based practices in each district's multi-tiered systems of support in reading, which guides teachers in making data-informed decisions about literacy instruction. After providing an overview of the project and relevant literacy research, REL Northwest and the district teams will create a shared understanding of multi-tiered systems of support. Ultimately, the districts will build upon this work to improve academic reading success for all students.
