REL West presented two sessions, one plenary and one breakout, at the Nevada Department of Education 2022 Federal Titles Directors' Meeting. This event's theme was "Continuity of Learning, Equity, and Leadership During Changing Times." REL West was invited to present research on interrupted learning due to COVID-19 and strategies for selecting evidence-based practices for learning acceleration. Other topics covered include the practical application of this knowledge to accelerate learning, especially for those disproportionately affected by the pandemic, along with how districts should hold an equity mindset (Roegman, 2019) as they address the needs of historically marginalized and underserved populations disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
