Partners from the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) will practice transcribing qualitative data and will discuss key practices for data storage to ensure data security. Then, partners will develop a process for forming future coding teams and reflect on ways identities and biases can shape data analysis and decisionmaking. For this project, REL Northwest guides ODE staff through the testing and refinement of a formalized approach to analyzing qualitative community engagement data to inform policy, programming, and guidance.
