Oregon Department of Education Literacy Framework Project Session 5: Confirming Gaps and Areas of Interest are Addressed

This will be the final support session between REL Northwest and the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) as part of a project updating Oregon's literacy framework with recent research and evidence. In this collaborative meeting, REL Northwest will provide updates on the current literacy framework revisions before leading ODE partners through an activity to create a checklist to address gaps and areas of development. This checklist will serve as a tool that ODE partners can continue to use in subsequent revisions. Before concluding the session, partners will reflect on this activity and summarize the key decisions that they made throughout the revision process to ensure that students in Oregon are equipped with up-to-date literacy instruction and resources.
