Join RELs Northeast & Islands, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest for a webinar to learn about evidence-based strategies that empower education leaders to promote equity in their schools and districts using data. This cross-REL webinar aims to bolster ongoing IES efforts to promote equity in education. By integrating resources around using data for equity from each of the three RELs--Data Collection Framework for Promoting Equity (REL Northeast & Islands), Accuracy for Equity tool (REL Mid-Atlantic), and the Data-Informed Leadership for Equity partnership (REL Midwest)--this event not only builds on previous REL initiatives, but also aligns closely with our collective mission to provide evidence-based strategies for school improvement. During the webinar, each REL will highlight how their respective work can support improved data use and equity-focused practices, offering educators practical resources to apply in their own contexts. Drawing on learnings and tools from the three RELs, this webinar will offer insights into data-driven methods for improving equity.
Audience: State educational agency and local educational agency staff, school and district administrators, data analysts and coordinators, and other staff involved in data analysis, equity initiatives, and school improvement initiatives may be particularly interested in this webinar. In addition, federally funded technical assistance centers and education researchers may also find this webinar insightful.
