REL Northwest will convene state education agencies (SEAs) to support them in translating literacy research, policy, and legislation into evidence-based practices. In the first Literacy Policy Community of Practice session, REL Northwest will focus on building community among SEA literacy leaders and providing an overview of mission and vision statements for literacy initiatives. The Oregon Department of Education team will highlight their literacy work, including their mission and their development and implementation of an early literacy framework.
