REL Southwest English Learners Research Partnership: Training for Implementing Two Tandem Resources to Support English Learner Students

This virtual training session will introduce participants to two tandem resources to support English learner students:

  • Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students: This document presents promising practices as well as links to online resources to support their implementation.
  • Using Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students: A Continuous Improvement Approach: This user guide is designed to support teachers, site administrators, and district administrators in implementing the research-based practices in the companion resource.

Participants will engage in a guided walk-through of the tandem documents, including the approach to the cycle of continuous improvement described in the user guide.

Who will benefit: Charter school educators, bilingual and multicultural education program directors, and coordinators in New Mexico will benefit from this session. The event is open to all conference attendees.
