In this REL Southwest training session, education leaders learned best practices for developing effective feedback surveys to evaluate the New Teacher Experience (NTE), a comprehensive induction program to support and retain early career teachers in Louisiana. Topics covered included survey purpose, clear item writing, avoiding double-barreled questions, cultural competence, and revising existing NTE surveys using learned techniques.
