In this REL Southwest training session, Louisiana Department of Education staff learned best practices for focus groups to evaluate the New Teacher Experience (NTE), a comprehensive induction program to support and retain early career teachers in Louisiana. Participants completed a four-part process whereby REL Southwest experts modeled the process for planning focus groups, developing focus group protocols, moderating focus groups, and analyzing focus group results. The content for the session built on the previous training session.
