Description: You are invited to participate in the REL Central webinar Supporting Emotion Regulation in Early Childhood. The webinar will include research-based strategies for creating supportive environments and using specific teaching strategies to foster the development of emotion regulation skills in early childhood settings. Crystal Day-Hess, assistant director for the Marsico Institute for Early Learning and Literacy at the University of Denver, will present strategies to implement Recommendations 2 and 3 from the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) practice guide Reducing Behavior Problems in the Elementary School Classroom (Epstein, Atkins, Cullinan, Kutash, & Weaver, 2008).

Audience: This webinar is intended for school district personnel, coaches, administrators, and teachers at the early childhood levels (grades pre-K-3) who are seeking to support the development of emotion regulation in students.
