Description: During this coaching session, the REL team and the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) will review the results of additional analyses of diagnostic growth trends in English language proficiency (ELP). Specifically, the NJDOE team will walk the REL team through the output of the new ELP diagnostics completed by NJDOE using its own data. Based on the results from the diagnostics, the REL will help NJDOE understand patterns of longitudinal student-level ELP growth among NJDOE's English learner students and how these patterns might influence school-level performance indicators.
