Description: In this session, participants will use the case study, "The Bookside Story", to examine how implicit and explicit bias can affect the development and implementation of a selection and hiring process. Participants will also learn to analyze and interpret workforce data related to a district within their scope of work, to identify parts of the hiring funnel that are creating barriers to hiring teachers of color and learn strategies for facilitating the data analysis process with participants when they deliver the coaching series.
