In this technical support project, REL Northwest will build from previous work with the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development (AK DEED) to guide the state in evaluating literacy data through REL Central-created protocol "5 Ds for Making Decisions." In Session 1, REL Northwest will focus on the "Discover" step to guide AK DEED members in compiling a list of observations from survey and assessment data. Members will interpret these observations in the next session.
