On February 28, 2023, REL West will meet with partners at Washoe County School District (WCSD) as part of the "Reducing Chronic Absence in Washoe County School District by Strengthening Multi-Tiered Systems of Support " partnership. In this series of coaching sessions, REL West will help WCSD evaluate and improve the Student Attendance Review Board (SARB) Referral Process. During session 1, participants will establish an understanding of how how the referral forms were used as a data source to describe the referral process, learn about the content of the information included in the SARB referral forms, and discuss implications for improving the SARB referral process and attendance interventions.
