On February 7, 2024, REL West met with partners at the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) for a training session as part of the Utah Early Career Teacher Retention Partnership. In session 5, participants learned about the information collected from recent local "stay interviews" with early career teachers; reached a better understand the policy environment, evidence base, and variations in local practice surrounding the mentoring of early career teachers across Utah; and brainstormed potential applied research with REL West/USBE in 2024 and 2025.
