On September 1, 2023, REL West will meet with partners at Tooele County School District (TCSD) to kick off the project Supporting Integrated Multilingual English Learner Instruction. In session 1, participants will gain a deeper understanding about the variety of learning needs and backgrounds of multilingual English learner students; increase their capacity to recognize and be able to communicate the need for integrated content and language instruction; and gain a deeper understanding of how school leaders can meaningfully impact the education of multilingual English learners.
