Idaho Educator Pipeline Alliance

IEPA is a partnership between REL Northwest, the Idaho State Department of Education (ISDE), Boise State University, and other stakeholders to examine the state's educator shortage and identify evidence-based solutions for addressing it, at both the state and district levels.

Objectives

Alliance Members are currently focused on using data and evidence to support teacher recruitment, development, and retention across the state. REL Northwest is also supporting the development of trainings for mentor teachers to improve preservice teachers’ preparation for working in Idaho schools.
