Montana Education Research Alliance

MERA is a partnership between REL Northwest and state, local, and tribal education stakeholders in Montana. The alliance's goal is to strengthen the use of data and research to inform practice and policy decisions on key state challenges.

Objectives

MERA's current projects include:

  • Addressing educator recruitment and retention issues
  • Improving college credit transferability for American Indian students
  • Sharing evidence about effective alternative education programs
  • Promoting the use of Montana's Early Warning System
