Thursday–Friday, January 28–29 | Tuesday, March 2 | Thursday, March 4, 2021
Community math nights (CMN) are designed to engage educators, children, and family members in learning and talking about mathematics, helping family members participate in their child's learning and support their child's academic success. REL Appalachia staff virtually hosted CMN trainings with educators from elementary schools in Kentucky in January and hosted the trainings with educators from West Virginia in March. These trainings focused on the importance of engaging families in math education, the power of positive mindsets, and hands-on practice with interactive math games that teachers facilitated during their CMN event
