Evidence-Based Strategies to Foster Student Agency

This REL Central webinar shares evidence-based strategies to develop student agency and personalize learning. The webinar includes a discussion of how Legacy High School, in Bismarck, North Dakota, uses a flexible-time system to develop student agency. The discussion includes a review of the findings from a REL Central study that explored how students at Legacy High School used the flexible-time system. Additionally, Suzanne Hiller, an expert on fostering student agency, discusses how the findings from the REL Central study are connected to the research on student agency. And she shares concrete, evidence-based strategies to develop student agency.
