Activities in addition to our alliance work

Maryland Connections Summit: Research + Policy + Practice

The data summit will be held at Towson University on June 6 and 7, 2018. The goal of the data summit is to convene educators from across the state to hear from experts, learn about innovations in the field, present their own work on data use, collaborate on data-related practices, and learn from one another. Staff from local school systems and schools, research partners, and representatives from education organizations will share their work around four themes:

  • Evidence-based activities, strategies, and interventions
  • Data-driven decision making when standardized data do not exist
  • Using data to implement and communicate change
  • Creating infrastructures to support data use

There is no registration fee to attend the summit. Participants must register to attend because space is limited. Registration will open in March 2018. For more information, visit the Maryland Connections Summit website at this link.

We want to hear from you! Please contact us if you would like to join an alliance or if your state or district has a need not represented here.
