This session features a REL Midwest mini-documentary on supporting black students in Wisconsin. The video highlights three promising practices developing at Racine Unified School District in Racine, Wisconsin, showing that Black students who are mentored, have strong student-teacher relationships, and have teachers with high expectations perform better in school. The session also examines related infographics and literature reviews.
