In 2017, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest formed the Midwest Achievement Gap Research Alliance, a research-practice partnership focused on addressing opportunity gaps and improving education outcomes among Black students. This presentation described the current work of the alliance, offered perspectives from alliance members, and outlined the research and technical assistance support available to school boards through REL Midwest.
