Building Survey Methodology Rigor in Education Agencies

Description:

The Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest and the Midwest Comprehensive Center partnered with state education agencies to provide agency staff with capacity-building trainings to improve survey data quality. This project also included consultation to help agency leaders review current practices and develop new processes and resources to improve agency ability to develop surveys, analyze findings, and communicate those findings to support evidence-based decisionmaking. The presentation shared lessons learned and resources that can inform the work of others supporting rigorous survey methodology in education agencies.
