As part of a cross-REL panel, REL Midwest describes how the Iowa Learning and Technology Networked Improvement Community (NIC) is supporting teachers’ use of education technology in rural public high schools. The presentation highlights the tools being used to support the NIC, as well as an ongoing study examining classroom practices, teacher perceptions, and challenges related to education technology use in Iowa’s rural public high schools. The discussion is of interest to policymakers and practitioners in Iowa and other states that face similar rural challenges.
