REL Midwest at the American Institutes for Research is one of 10 Regional Educational Laboratories funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences. Our mission is to support a more evidence-based education system by partnering with policymakers and practitioners to conduct applied research and training in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. More than 90 partners, including representatives from state education agencies, regional service agencies, districts, schools, institutes of higher education, and other organizations, shape our work.
