Madison Metropolitan School District Environmental Scan of Literacy Interventions

REL Midwest worked with the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) to support an environmental scan of programs and interventions used by MMSD schools to support K–12 literacy development. District leaders requested coaching and in-depth consultation to better understand what literacy interventions schools are using and how schools are implementing these interventions. MMSD plans to use the scan results to develop stronger policies and guidance to support students’ literacy skills and address racial literacy gaps.
