Equity in School Discipline Collaborative
REL Northwest is facilitating this cross-state collaborative, which brings together state education agencies, educational and community-based organizations, and institutions of higher education in Oregon and Washington to address the issue of equity in school climate and discipline.
Objectives
With REL Northwest's support, the collaborative is:
- Designing professional development tools to increase practitioners' knowledge in using data and evidence to improve school discipline policies and practices
- Providing opportunities for members to network and to share lessons learned regarding the implementation of state-level school discipline reform legislation
