Oregon Graduation and Postsecondary Success Alliance
Oregon's state and local K-12 and postsecondary systems are committed to working together to build a seamless transition from high school to college and career. REL Northwest is partnering with stakeholders in the OR GPS alliance to support efforts that increase high school graduation rates and improve postsecondary education access and completion. The alliance is focused on closing equity gaps that affect historically underserved students.
Objectives
OR GPS will support higher graduation and college completion rates for all students through the following activities:
- Build the capacity of stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and use data to increase high school graduation rates
- Disseminate evidence-based strategies to improve equity in graduation rates and build the capacity of stakeholders to use that research
- Support cross-sector partnerships aimed at strengthening alignment between Oregon's K-12 and postsecondary education systems
- Study the implementation and impact of early indicator and intervention systems, accelerated learning, and Oregon Promise
