Washington Student Enrollment Dashboard

This dashboard provides data about K-12 student enrollment and transfer patterns in Washington during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in spring 2019/20 and for the two prior academic years. Data are available for the state, by educational service district (ESD), and by school district. The dashboard was developed by Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Northwest, administered by Education Northwest, to support decisionmaking about re-engaging K-12 students who may have disengaged with education during the pandemic and to support Washington's ability to share relevant data with school districts and stakeholders throughout the state.

  • Overview tab: start here for an introduction to the state-level enrollment data, then visit the other tabs to explore more data on public school enrollment patterns during the pandemic.
  • Outcomes tab: by district, ESD, and grade level and compare them to the previous two school years .
  • Equity tab: explore fall enrollment outcomes by student demographics.
  • About tab: review frequently asked questions (FAQs), read information about the data analysis, and export the dashboard data.
