Supporting Micronesian Students in Hawai'i through Family and Community Engagement

This webinar will explore opportunities and challenges in engaging Micronesian migrant families in their students' education and approaches to strengthening collaborations among families, schools, and community partners. Participants will learn from a national expert on family engagement, alongside a panel of Hawai'i-based partners who currently focus on supporting Micronesian students in Hawai'i schools. Webinar panelists and participants will examine research-based promising practices for effective family engagement through the lens of multiculturalism and consider recommendations for future work in this area.
