Alabama English Learners Partnership
The Alabama Research Partnership for Improving English Learner Outcomes addresses issues specific to improving programs and services provided to English learner students in Alabama schools and districts. The goal of the partnership is to ensure that districts and schools in Alabama have the support necessary to provide evidence-based programs to meet the needs of Alabama's rapidly growing English learner student population.

Dr. Jarvis is a Senior Research Associate at RMC Research. She has coordinated and managed regional and local research and technical assistance projects in every state in the Southeast region as well as several states in the Northeast, Appalachia, and Central regions as well as the U.S. territories and freely associated states in the Pacific region. Her work has centered on providing technical assistance in the areas of federal program implementation, school improvement, educational leadership, response to intervention, and literacy.
