This webinar provided an overview of the research base on individualized learning plans and how they support college and career readiness.

In this interactive webinar, participants will hear an overview of the research base for individualized learning plans, as well as their implementation and impact, from V. Scott Solberg, Ph.D., professor at Boston University. Lisa Tyler, director of student support services at Arkansas Department of Education will discuss the state’s vision for its student success plans. Finally, a state panel of presenters from Wisconsin and Colorado will share their individual learning plan implementation successes and challenges. Gregg Curtis, Ph.D., school counseling consultant at Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction will present on implementing the state’s Academic and Career Planning Plans. The Colorado Department of Education’s Robin Russel, graduation guidelines manager, and Andy Tucker, director of postsecondary readiness, will present on their state’s Individual Career and Academic Plans. Participants will have opportunities to engage in an in-depth discussion and pose questions during the event’s question-and-answer sessions.
