Join REL Southwest and the Office of English Language Acquisition for a free webinar on promoting the success of Native American English learners.
This webinar will focus on factors that influence the success and development of Native American and Alaska Native English learners and the cultural, instructional, and structural practices that promote their academic achievement and social development. Presenters from the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Southwest and the Office of English Language Acquisition at the U.S. Department of Education will examine factors that influence the success and development of Native American and Alaska Native English learners. In addition, presenters will identify and discuss research-based and promising strategies to establish culturally responsive school environments that promote the academic achievement of Native American English learners and hear from practitioners working to implement these strategies.
