Coaching for data use

Cross-sector data use and sharing to improve career pathways, especially in rural communities, is challenging due to underdeveloped data infrastructure and limited capacity among collaborating organizations. In response, REL West is working with several rural consortia and cross-sector teams to identify what data are currently used by their partners for career pathways implementation, development, and progress monitoring, and to determine how such activities could be expanded and strengthened. Through sustained coaching and training, REL West will build the capacity of cross-sector teams to develop and incorporate data in decisionmaking, and support systems and processes that sustain collaboration for regional career pathways programs.
