Regional Convening for State Education Agencies

This series of biannual events will strengthen the capacity of State Education Agencies (SEAs) to conduct evidence-based decisionmaking around leadership development and support. The convenings will increase participants' understanding of relevant and recent research, peer knowledge sharing, and facilitated strategic planning related to expanding the implementation of evidence-based supports for principals and teacher leaders as a way to improve effectiveness, job satisfaction and retention among educators.

  School Leader Supports: What Do We Know? Where Are We Going Next?
  A two-day regional convening of state education agency teams to examine current evidence-based approaches to leadership support, as well as lessons learned from past efforts, to help inform the design and development of effective state initiatives going forward.
