Recent research shows that when students receive effective academic and nonacademic supports they can overcome barriers that impede school success. This 14-minute video describes a K-12 whole child approach to supporting at-risk students that is making a positive difference in one Utah community. Focusing particularly on the high school, three strategies that are boosting student outcomes—especially graduation rates—are highlighted:
- "The Royal Review and Reward" (an academic intervention);
